01Before your appointment
Schedule an appointment by Instagram DM (or text 801-636-1993) and come with an open mind. Eat and hydrate the day of your appointment! Avoid heavy foundation, dark lip colors, or self-tanner that can rub off on delicate white and ivory fabrics. Feel free to bring inspiration photos, shoes with a heel height similar to what you plan to wear on your wedding day, and any undergarments you plan to wear. Wear a supportive bra with a wire, and nude underwear or tight-fitting garments if endowed. You’re welcome to bring up to three guests along with you to your appointment as well.
02During your appointment
Your one-hour appointment is reserved exclusively for you, with the boutique to yourself while you browse and try on gowns. You’ll receive thoughtful recommendations in a fun, low-pressure setting. For nearly all brides, one hour is plenty of time to find their gown. If you need a second appointment, you’re welcome to schedule one for an additional $25.
03The Laurels & Lace difference
One of the best parts of renting from Laurels & Lace? Your gown is already altered. You won’t need to budget for a separate alteration appointment or worry about finding someone to make last-minute changes. The dresses are clean for you to try on and carefully inspected before you pick up for your wedding.
04When you find “the one”
When you find your perfect dress, a deposit holds the dress for your wedding dates. Pickup and drop-off dates are chosen together to make sure the gown is held for dates that work for your wedding. Once your gown is reserved, you’ll receive all of the important details for your rental by email. Your gown is cleaned and prepared before pickup. Care instructions and everything you need to know while the dress is in your care are reviewed at pickup.
