Instead of letting your gown sit in a closet, let it continue its story. Consigning allows you to earn passive income, help another bride save on her dream dress, and give your gown more chances to be loved while you keep ownership.

Your gown can be placed in the Laurels & Lace collection after your wedding. You keep ownership while Laurels & Lace markets it, coordinates rentals and cleaning, and handles communication with brides. Each time the gown rents, you receive a percentage of the rental fee.

You maintain ownership of your gown throughout the consignment period. Laurels & Lace manages rentals on your behalf.

You receive a payout via Venmo each time your gown is rented. Earnings vary based on factors including style, size, rental price, and demand.

Laurels & Lace looks for modern, modest, garment-friendly gowns that fit the collection, usually purchased within the last one to two years. Not every gown is accepted, but photographs can be submitted for individual review.

Every renter signs a contract accepting responsibility for the gown during the rental. Normal wear is expected; damage beyond repair is handled according to the consignment agreement.

Yes. Because you own the gown, you may request to end the consignment agreement and collect it according to the contract terms. If it is already reserved for an upcoming wedding, it can be returned after that rental is completed.

As a general rule, alterations are not allowed. If a bride requests a reversible change, Laurels & Lace will ask for your approval. Alterations that remove original fabric will not be considered.
